Flooding
This report was generated on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 12:10 pm.
These are the current conditions reported at the Barbours Cut Terminal.
1 Highway 146 at Barbours Cut Blvd., remains open and passable.
2)Some sections of Barbours Cut Blvd., are flooded, both Eastbound / Westbound. Vehicles are still passing with some difficulty.
3)The ditch area between George Altvater Drive and Barbours Cut Blvd., (between Lobit and just East of APM terminal), remains flooded. If the rain continues, this will eventually overflow on to Barbours Cut Blvd.
4)The private drive located in front of APM terminal is flooded.
Due to the weather, Customs & Boder Protection is not available to man the Radiation Portal Monitors. Based on this, no containers will be allowed to leave Barbours Cut or Bayport facilites today. The gates will receive only for normal business hours commencing at 13:00.
